Local PICFI community meetings were held May and June around the province with First Nations.
The purpose for the community meetings were to roll out the template and funding application process.
PICFI is a initiative aimed at achieving environmentally sustainable and economically viable commercial fisheries, where conservation is the first priority and First Nations’ aspirations to be more involved are supported.
