    • July 17 Radio tagging begins
    • July 20 Beach seining and helicopter transport of fish begins
    • July 22 Controlled blast to remove rock from wall for placement in river
  • August 2019
    • August 11 1st fish wheel operational
    • August 16 High Bar & Canoe Creek First Nation archeological monitoring commences
    • August 17 Fish transport road construction commence
    • August 20 Initial salmon able to swim past slide via partly restored fish passage
    • August 31 Rock scalers move large boulders to clear passage
  • September 2019
    • September 6 More than 140,000 salmon have swum past the slide

  • October 2019
    • October 1 Incident command response phase transitions to project management phase
    • October 3-17 Winter site preparation work, including final Fisheries Act review for in-river blasting and construction work
    • October 17 Demobilization of on-site equipment and crew complete, intensive planning process for winter work begins
    • October 21 Big Bar Landslide JESC workshop to advance planning and procurement
    • October 23 Fish radio tagging operations end

    • January 9 High Bar and Stswecem’c Xgat’tem First Nation meet with PSPC, Kiewit & JESC to develop Indigenous Benefit Plan
    • January 17 DFO Minister Jordan meets with HBFN & SXFN leadership and Kiewit for site visit
