Angling Information

In all cases, anglers should check the Provincial non-tidal waters fishing synopsis to determine area restrictions and closures. These are subject to sudden change, and a check with the local Conservation Officer or Fishery Officer would ensure compliance.

In general

Steelhead: Catch & Release on all fish below the hatchery closed area. Above the hatchery, the river is closed to Steelhead fishing. Bait ban is in effect.

Coho: Coho Jack Fishery open from October 1 to December 31, (Coho between 25cm and 50 cm fork length). Adults are closed, (over 50 cm fork length).

Cutthroat: Catch and release only.

Pinks: Non retention.

Chinook: Non retention.

Chums: Non retention.
