  Species
Kokanee and/or Rainbow will appear as Sockeye and Steelhead respectively, with a run of landlocked.
  Run
Spring, Summer or Fall The time the adults enter freshwater
  Stock CU
The Conservation Unit of the stock. The Wild Salmon Policy requires a systematic process to organize all Pacific salmon streams and lakes into geographic units for conservation and specification of the means to monitor abundance and distribution of Pacific salmon within those units over time.
  Objective
Objectives are only entered for release events, not transfers.
Conservation - stocks that are at risk of extinction or extirpation
- vulnerable stocks that are a regional priority (COSEWIC listed, CU designated amber/red)
Rebuilding - depleted populations
- mitigation for habitat loss and fishery impacts
Assessment - stocks that contribute to regional priorities (PST), regional stock assessment framework, area stock assessment framework priorities or regional SEP assessment priorities
Harvest - stocks harvested by First Nations, Recreational or Commercial Fisheries that are reliant on enhancement to meet harvest objectives
Stewardship - refers to small-scale, public involvement-level production
Education - refers to small-scale production that takes place at schools in order to provide an educational opportunity
  Production Strategy Level
Primary Primary level targets refer to those lines of production that are to occur (providing sufficient stock available). This includes a project's own releases and transfers in or out that regularly occur.
Alternate Alternate level targets are backups or contingencies to another primary (or alternate) target and these eggs/fry should be produced only if necessary.
  Egg Target
Targeted (ie. maximum) # of eggs to be taken for production + for transfers out. When multiple release or transfer rows refer to the same egg target, the egg target is shown only for the first row. Subsequent rows will display a "-", but the field actually contains 0. This way if the column is summed, the sum will be correct. However, if the spreadsheet is sorted in a different order, the row containing the actual number may no longer be the first one.
  Release/Transfer Stage
Eyed Egg Fertilized egg planted in gravel or incubation box
Unfed  Fry released that are not fed
Chan Fry Fry incubated and emerged in a DFO-operated spawning channel
Fed Fry Fry released in the spring
Fed Fall Fry released in the fall
Nat Emerg Natural emergent fry
Nat Fry Natural fry
Smolt 0+ Subyearling smolts (reared < 1 year in freshwater)
Smolt 1+ Yearling smolts (reared 1 year in freshwater)
Smolt 2+ 2 Year Smolt (reared 2 years in freshwater)
Seapen 0+ Subyearling smolts reared in a seapen for short term prior to release
Seapen 1+ Yearling smolts reared in a seapen for short term prior to release
  Release Site/Transfer Project
For releases this column shows the release site. For transfers it shows the project that the fish are being transferred to (for transfers out) or the project they were obtained from (for transfers in).
  Release/Transfer Target
When multiple mark types refer to the same release target, the release target is shown only for the first row. Subsequent rows will display a "-", but the field actually contains 0. This way if the column is summed, the sum will be correct. However, if the spreadsheet is sorted in a different order, the row containing the actual number may no longer be the first one.
  Mark Type
Coded Wire Tag Coded wire tagged with or without an adipose fin clip
Fin Clip A fin is clipped but no coded wire tag is applied
Thermal Otoliths are thermally marked either before or after hatch
Parentage-based Tagging Involves the genotyping of broodstock and uses parentage assignments to identify the origin and brood year of their progeny.
  Clip Type
AD Adipose clip
NOMK No adipose clip
RV Right ventral clip
LV Left ventral clip

  Target Status
This column indicates any in-season changes that were made after the Final Regional Production Plan was approved. In-season changes are approved through a consultation process involving representatives from SEP Area Staff and SEP RHQ staff, as well as review by Fisheries Management and Stock Assessment representatives. In-season changes may include revisions to an egg or release target, a donor stock, a release stage or strategy, or a release location.
  Licence Not Held by DFO
An "X" in this column indicates production at SEP facilities for which DFO does not hold the licence.
