How long does it take to complete the survey

The time it takes you to complete the survey depends on both your record keeping and number of licences. We recommend that you set aside 1 hour to complete the survey. Vessels active in fewer fisheries will find it takes less than 30 minutes and vessels active in numerous fisheries may take longer to recall and enter details.

What happens if I cannot finish the survey in one sitting

Your responses are saved automatically. Simply close the browser tab and, at a later time, click on the survey link to continue entering your answers.

Why was a private consulting company, PRA Inc., given access to my email address

PRA Inc. has been given access to your name and email address simply to deliver the survey to you. Your contact information was disclosed to PRA Inc. in accordance with the Government of Canada personal information bank (PIB), Public Communications (PSU 914).

PRA Inc. has certified that it will use the information only for the purpose of contacting you about this survey and will destroy the database containing your email address when it is no longer needed for this purpose.
