Survey of prawn landed forms and dockside sales

Current status: Closed

This survey ran from December 5, 2023 to December 22, 2023.

With support of the Pacific Prawn Fishermen’s Association (PPFA), we are conducting a survey focusing on the 2022 commercial prawn harvesting season in British Columbia.

This survey collects price information for prawns sold to different markets. The input gathered through this survey will help understand how commercial prawn fishing activity affects economic activity in B.C., with a focus on the full harvest value earned by commercial fishers.

The value of this information is increased by a high number of prawn harvesters responding to all of the survey questions.
