

Approximately 15 kilometres southwest of Merritt, British Columbia
From Kamloops British Columbia drive south on highway # 5 (Coquihalla ) to Merritt and take highway # 8 west to Spences Bridge for about 20 minutes. Turn south on Sunshine Valley Road West (you will see a highway sign for the hatchery) follow this road (staying right) for 2 kilometres and you will see our sign on the right.
Open to the public seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. the hatchery is closed on December 25 , 26 , and January 1st
All tours are self - guided. A guided tour can be arranged for large groups by contacting the hatchery and setting up a date and time. Tours take approximately 1 hour. Please obey all signs.

City of Merritt Museum, mountain biking and hiking the old Kettle Valley Railroad, Douglas Lake Cattle Ranch (one of the largest in North America) and fishing resort, wind surfing on Nicola Lake, snowmobiling, fishing, rafting on the Thompson River, camping, Cross country ski areas.
The site is a gravel road and parking lot and is not wheelchair accessible. Public washrooms are located in the main hatchery building. Picnic tables are available
