Notes

1. Foreign vessels may NOT enter Canadian Waters or Ports prior to receiving an EEZ licence from the Pacific Fishery Licence Unit.
   Note: allow 5 business days for processing.
2. Incomplete Information will result in the return of the application and/or delays in processing time.
3. Applications for Port Access must be accompanied by a copy of the USA Certificate of Documentation and the vessel’s fishing permit. Documents must be valid for the entire period requested for in this application [Date of Entry to Date of Departure].
4. Any foreign fishing vessel wishing to apply to enter Canadian fisheries waters and/or ports must file the application with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in accordance with Section 6(2) of the Coastal Fisheries Protection Regulations.
5. Any foreign fishing vessel wishing to enter Canadian fisheries waters and/or ports must give notice to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in accordance with Section 12(1) (a) and Section 12(1)(b) of the Coastal Fisheries Protection Regulations.
6. The vessel, master, and crew, shall also comply with the Fisheries Act and all other applicable laws of Canada.
