Notes
- Foreign vessels may NOT enter Canadian Waters or Ports prior to receiving an EEZ licence from the Pacific
Fishery Licence Unit.
Note: allow 5 business days for processing. - Incomplete Information will result in the return of the application and/or delays in processing time.
- Applications for Port Access must be accompanied by a copy of the USA Certificate of Documentation and the vessel’s fishing permit. Documents must be valid for the entire period requested for in this application [Date of Entry to Date of Departure].
- Any foreign fishing vessel wishing to apply to enter Canadian fisheries waters and/or ports must file the application with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in accordance with Section 6(2) of the Coastal Fisheries Protection Regulations.
- Any foreign fishing vessel wishing to enter Canadian fisheries waters and/or ports must give notice to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in accordance with Section 12(1) (a) and Section 12(1)(b) of the Coastal Fisheries Protection Regulations.
- The vessel, master, and crew, shall also comply with the Fisheries Act and all other applicable laws of Canada.
