Licence designation application information

This application may be used to request designation of a commercial or communal commercial licence to another fisher at any time during the year, including after licence issue. Licence categories that are eligible for designation are Transboundary River Commercial/FN(ATBR), Communal Transboundary Rivers (FATBR), Yukon River Commercial (AYR).

Note: The eligible licence holder may be held liable if the designated/authorized fisher does not comply with the terms of the conditions of the licence.

Prior to designation, applicants must:

Complete and return the application on the reverse.

Confirm that the conditions of the licence have been met (e.g. log book and/or fish slips submitted, etc.)

The licence eligibility holder on record must sign the application. Where the licence eligibility holder is a company or Aboriginal group, the Pacific Fishery Licence Unit must have on record a copy of either a Confirmation of Signing Authorities or an Amendment to Confirmation of Signing Authorities form advising who the signing authorities are.
