About us
Shuswap Falls Hatchery produces Chinook juveniles from the Middle and Lower Shuswap Rivers, and Sockeye Juveniles from the Bowron, Taseko and Early Stuart Sockeye runs. Eggs are incubated from August through January and ponded throughout early Spring each year. All stocks are released in their natal streams as fry through April and May each year, where they will begin their migration down the Fraser into the Strait of Georgia.
