  • July 4 Rock scaling begins to provide safe working conditions at base of slide

  • July 17 Radio tagging begins
  • July 20 Beach seining and helicopter transport of fish begins
  • July 22 Controlled blast to remove rock from wall for placement in river
• August 2019
  • August 11 1st fish wheel operational
  • August 16 High Bar & Canoe Creek First Nation archeological monitoring commences
  • August 17 Fish transport road construction commence
  • August 20 Initial salmon able to swim past slide via partly restored fish passage
  • August 31 Rock scalers move large boulders to clear passage

  • September 6 More than 140,000 salmon have swum past the slide
