Fisheries economic analyses, reports and profiles

We conduct economic analysis and provide advice to support evidence-based decision making on a wide range of subjects related to the fisheries and maritime sectors in British Columbia and Yukon. Economic analysis supports both regulatory and non-regulatory processes including Pacific Integrated Fisheries Management Plans (IFMPs) and the Fisheries Act Fish Stock Provisions. Incorporating socio-economic perspectives in these processes ensures that actions are backed by evidence and made in the best interests of Canadians.
